This is one of the best kept tech secrets this year. Today Google released it's own Internet browser - Chrome. Google even created an on-line comic book to detail how Chrome works.
As I see it, this represents a paradigm shift in desktop computing. Rather than focus on a desktop OS, Google seems to be focusing on a platform for web-based applications. This is the link to moving everything to the cloud. This will be exciting to watch.
