Vista Trouble ?

Have you ever talked to anyone that had trouble with Vista? Maybe the better question is have you ever talked to anyone that didn't have trouble with Vista?

Today Microsoft announced that XP will be around a little longer than they had intended. This not only applies to OEM's but now consumers will be able to purchase XP until at least June of 2008. This will include XP SP3 that is to be released in early 2008.

Engadget points out that people are just not "feeling the love" for Vista. CNET even goes so far as to say that "Microsoft must abandon Vista to save itself." They call Vista one of the biggest blunders in technology.

I use Vista, XP and OS X. While Vista is pretty, it crashes about every other day on a brand new machine. How is that for feeling the love?

The Truth Hurts

Do you think that the people at Microsoft are getting tired of the Apple commercials yet? More and more I hear of people trying out Vista and making the move to Mac. The most recent famous person to make the move is Mark Cuban. That is huge news!

People often ask me what kind of computer to buy. Almost 100% of the time I recommend buying a Mac. Think about it. Have you ever met a person that didn't have a problem with a PC? While I like Vista, it is not for the faint of heart.

Frolic at the Frolick's - 2007

Emily and I hosted the 3rd annual Frolic at the Frolick's party for the KPMG crowd. It was a lot of fun. This year we picked up this R2D2 cooler. It actually holds a full two cases of iced beverages.

This year about a dozen people made it to the party. We had a great time!
