New Android Version - Gingerbread

The new version of Android will be called Gingerbread. The Googleplex lawn has each version of Android on display, cupcake, donut, eclair, froyo, and now Gingerbread. No word if this will be version 2.3 or 3.0. You have to love Google. .

New Macbook Air

Steve Jobs announced the new Macbook Air today. They are only available with a solid-state drive and are available in 11.6" and 13.3". Not only are they cool but they are cheap with prices from $1000 to $1700.

It's really not a question of 'do you need one' but how many to buy :-)

World's Longest Cat

This Maine Coon is now the world's longest cat at 48". Stewie is now in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Ray Ozzie Leaving Microsoft

This is huge news. Ray Ozzie was brought into Microsoft five years ago to replace Bill Gates as the Chief Software Architect. Today he announced his retirement. No word on where Mr. Ozzie will land but any way you slice it, this one it is not good for Microsoft.

Facebook A Security Nightmare

I have been telling people for some time that Facebook is a security nightmare on a good day. There are now security holes that will disclosed ID's and passwords to financial sites. The Wall Street Journal published an article today about the most recent security issues with Facebook.

Honestly, if you value your privacy at all, stay away from Facebook.

World's Fastest Lawnmower

What could be more fun than setting the world speed record - on a lawnmower? :-) Bobby Cleveland did just that on the Bonneville Salt Flats with a speed of 96.529mph.

He can mow his lawn in under 6 seconds :-)
