Coolest Restaurant Ever
This could well be the coolest restaurant ever! It is an undersea restaurant at the Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa. It costs $5 million and will only seat 14 people. This alone would be worth a trip to the Maldives!

A Box For My Tail
Just Wrong!
This comes under the category of more money than common sense. Someone ruined a perfectly good Olympus E-P1 by covering it with Sworovski crystals.
This is just wrong!

Chrome OS Detailed
Google showcased their new operating system, Chrome, today. Google’s Sundar Pichai, vice president of product management and Matthew Papakipos, engineering director for Google Chrome OS, did a Chrome demonstration.
My favorite line in the entire presentation was "It just works." There is a novel notion for an OS that Microsoft seems to keep missing. The boys in Redmond must be in a full blown panic today.

New Casio G1
Casio just released a new rigid camera called the G1. This is basically the G-Shock version of a small digital camera. It will be exciting to see how this pans out. Casio used to make very good small cameras but their quality has suffered in the last 24 months or so.
Never rule Casio out!

The Microsoft Store employees break out in a dance, not something that they know how to do. Check out the skinny guy on the right side. He will forever have this dance on YouTube for his children and grandchildren to see.

Psystar Gone
It looks like U.S. District Court Judge William Alsup put perhaps the final nail in Psystar's coffin on Friday. The Judge stated that “Psystar has violated Apple’s exclusive reproduction right, distribution right, and right to create derivative works.”
Psystar had been violating Apple's OS X copyright by installing it on clones, a clear violation of the terms of use.
The Judge granted Apple's requested summary judgement, which you can believe that Psystar will never pay given their current financial situation.
The real back story is that there is a rumor that one of the PC manufacturers was funding the entire Psystar fiasco.

This guy Galveston, TX managed to drive his $2 million Bugatti Veyron into a salt water lagoon. I would love to hear this phone call to the insurance company.

Mr. Martin Cooper here thinks that your smart phone is too complicated. He knows a little about cellphones. He is the former lead engineer at Motorola who invented the handheld cellphone. He is of the opinion that we are going to see another paradigm shift in mobile technology soon.

World's Best Point & Shoot Camera
Canon just released what many believe to be the best point and shoot camera made today, the S90. The reason that is is the best is that it allows direct control over all aspects of exposure and has the lowest low-light noise of any camera in its class.
For a full review of the Canon S90 head over to Ken Rockwell's site.

New iPod Dock
Now this is an iPod speaker to be proud of. It is a whopping 4x3 feet. Check out the nano sitting next to the speaker. It is made Brothers in Drottninggatan, Stockholm. It is only $4,495 plus shipping.
Here is the funny thing, they sold out of the first run. If you really want one you have to be placed on a waiting list for the next production run.

NSA's New Data Center
The NSA has outgrown it's current data center space. As such, they are building a 1.5 million square foot data center in Utah. This place is going to be HUGE. It will be a 30-megawatt facility and will be cooled by chilled water and capable of Tier 3, or near carrier-grade, reliability.
This will be the largest known data center in existence. The second largest belongs to - you guessed it, the NSA.
