At WWDC today, Snow Leopard was previewed to a packed crowd. Snow Leopard was given a release date of September. The purpose of Snow Leopard it to improve the performance and increase the power of the operating system.
Bertrand Serlet, Apple's senior vice president of software engineering, said the next major version of OS X would be characterized by powerful new technologies, refinements to existing features, and support for Microsoft Exchange.
The great news is that if you are using Leopard, the upgrade is a whopping $29!
