The Palm Pre was released today at Spring Stores nationwide. This is going to be an interesting player in the market and comes at an odd time. Many believe that the new iPhone will be released on Monday at WWDC.
For now, the Palm Pre will sync with iTunes. It does so by emulating an iPod by transmitting Apple-specific vendor and product IDs to iTunes. I can hear the lawyers in Cupertino getting ready to hammer this one. Watch for the next version of iTunes to block the Palm Pre.
