It is hard to believe but Photoshop turned 20 today. This software changed photography as we know it. Much like the word Google, Photoshop is also used as a verb.

PDF Files A Security Nightmare


















According to a report by ZDNet, 80% of all exploits for 2009 came in the form malicious PDF files. Hackers use PDF as an easy exploit as it is ubiquitous.

Adobe doesn't seem to be able to catch a break lately!

Adobe Acrobat Patch




















There is a critical zero-day exploit in Adobe Reader and Acrobat. The patch will not be ready until March 11. In virus years, that is forever! In the meantime, disable Javascript. Better yet, use Preview on the Mac to avoid this problem altogether. If this is not in the cards for you (i.e. you use a PC), some security analysts are suggesting that people uninstall Acrobat until the patch is available.
