Unfortunately, it is once again time to leave the sun and warmth of Hawaii. Time to go back to work in a balmy Ohio winter. :-)

Next year the conference is in Maui. :-)

The Beach

The beach out in front of the Hyatt here is Kauai is pretty amazing. The cliff on the left has been in several movies. Harrison Ford jumped off of this cliff once.

It is 77 here today and 26 with snow at home. Not looking forward to that :-)

Room With A View

You have to love a room with a view! This is the view from our room here in Poipu Kauai. We are here all week for the HICSS conference. It was 80 here today and 26 at home. It is hard not to love Hawaii in the winter.

Back to work at the conference now.

Island Time

Everything moves slower in the islands. I have never seen a snail this large. This guy must be the envy of his friends with this pretty shell :-)

New Years In Kauai

Kauai is a great place to spend the New Year. Although it is warm at home right now, that won't last for long. Kauai is 75 and sunny every day. In addition, where else in the world can you get a Puka Dog? :-)
