Wow!

Engadget is covering the iPhone OS 4 press event in Cupertino today. Prior to getting into the features of the new iPhone, Steve Jobs mentioned that as of today, 450,000 iPads have been sold. That is only six days.

Wow!

How Much Is Enough?

Just when you thought you had all of the gadgets that you needed, along comes the SnapStream DVR. It allows you to record 50 channels simultaneously.

So much for that puny Tevo :-)

Good News From The TSA

Here is a bit of good news from the TSA. There will be no need to remove your iPad from you bag at security.

With computers, cameras, and now the iPad, I may need to questions how much stuff really needs to go with me on a trip :-)

BlendTec Is At It Again!

This guy makes the best blenders in the world. His only advertisement is on YouTube. His love of blending Apple products had increased his market share exponentially.

I don't think that Iwill put my new iPad through a blender just yet!

This Is Just Cool

This is a very cool story. On Saturday, iPad launch day, Steve Jobs walked into an Apple store in Palo Alto California for a very brief visit. While there, he did a demo of the iPad for a young girl, then strolled out as quickly as he had come in.

iPad Delivered Today

The iPad is being delivered today to those insightful enough to order them early. UPS trucks are making Saturday deliveries all over the country.

This is really going to be huge. Piper Jaffray feels that Apple will be able to sell every iPad that they produce. That could be 14.4 million iPads in 2011 and another 20 million in 2012.

IDC goes on to say that perhaps Mr. Jobs was correct about netbook computers not being good at anything.

We are seeing a paradigm shift in the entire publishing industry with the release of the iPad.

My favorite feature of the iPad on the day of release is that Google has released an HTML5 version of Gmail that is optimized for the iPad screen.
